Because the supplements work so well together and help create a full
campaign that progresses over time, Orpheus is arguably the best use of
metaplot used in an rpg.
Requires the Troll Blade rules to play.
The cover is very pretty, but I noticed that the person featured on the
cover has his eyes pointing in two different directions. The players do
not know how long the enemies are going to take to finish an action.
However, one thing is missing, FIRE!
An Indian who wants to sell something to you, a hostile road block or an
invitation to dine with the Japanese style noble are examples of trigger
events. It makes the job of the GM a whole lot easier and makes the
environment for the PCs significantly more compelling.
They moved like many arrows shot through the sky in all directions.
Considering the compelling back story to Potter's Lake, I have no doubt
about this promise! These raiders from the heavens were a hideous lot;
they were tall with huge heads, opaque skin that wrapped around
appendages protruding from their faces, huge eyes and gaping mouths.
Basically, Potter's Lake is a town where the creepy little rumors that
circulate through the pre-teen crowd are all true.
The thing that makes Orpheus stay in business is the fact that its
operatives can project their souls into the spirit world- ensuring their
"ghostbusting" lends results.
To maintain a spell, you need to make a Concentrate check in the manner
described as above. Nobody's invented pastimes yet, so you sit around
telling stories to one another, trying to keep warm. The invaders had
made a haven for themselves in this new world. It was a time when Man
had no rival, the world was his kingdom and every other species was
beneath him. They could be good, bad or just a reason to stop. The cover
is very pretty, but I noticed that the person featured on the cover has
his eyes pointing in two different directions. These atrocities were
used as servants, mine workers and even for food, but the most favorite
were used for amusement.
I have included a list of ideas to use if the players can not think of
anything.
Much of the backstory and metaplot of the Wraith line carry over into
Orpheus, slowly bleeding over into a truly marvelous campaign. With
Little Fears Mr.
